Operation Christmas Child
Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse. It is a hands-on way for you to bless children in need across the world by filling shoeboxes with toys, personal care items, school supplies, and fun gifts.
The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world. Through this project, Samaritan’s Purse partners with the local church worldwide to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and make disciples of the nations.
At Community Baptist Church we have been supporting Operation Christmas Child for several years and plan on doing so again this Christmas. We have a shoebox packing event for the ladies of Community Baptist which will take place this coming Saturday (7th November).
For anyone interested in attending please contact Cathy or Cristy for more information. There will be food and refreshments available as part of this event.
