Countdown to Christmas
Christmas is fast approaching. The shops are already starting to stock festive items and it’s only a matter of days before we hear those jingle bells ringing.
Everyone loves a gift, especially the Christmas variety dressed in shiny red paper with snowflakes and ribbon. Here at Community Baptist Church we are no different. We love to to both give and receive presents. However our focus as Christians is on the best gift of all. God sent His Son Jesus down to our world to both live and die as a gift to mankind. That’s the best gift of all.
We are planning on celebrating that special gift and having our annual Carol Service on Sunday 10th December at 10.45am. Pencil it in your diaries as I know it’s the one annual service that no one wants to miss.
As usual we will be celebrating the arrival of our Saviour with lots of carols being sung, a Christmas message from our Pastor and then afterwards some yuletide nibbles.
