We had the delight yesterday of having our missionaries to Romania come and share our morning service with us.
Stefan Calin, his wife Sandra and their children Benjamin and Gabriela were at Community Baptist Church to share a bit about their ongoing work in the country of Romania.
The Calin’s showed us an intriguing video of their ministry in Romania, and we were able to hear Stefan speak on his missionary zeal for the nation and his work in the town of Sibiu. We were assured that although Transylvanian we didn’t need to dig out the garlic.
In the Q&A session Stefan shared with us how he got saved and felt led by the Lord to the mission field of Romania. He explained some of the intricacies of working in that country.
We thank God as a church for their zeal and endurance in often difficult and challenging conditions. As a church we continue to pray and support the Calin’s in their ongoing endeavours for Christ and to see the gospel communicated to the town of Sibiu and the wider Romanian people.
